To get the best results out of your spray tan please follow the following instructions.
- Hair removal to be done 24 hours before.
- Thoroughly exfoliate the night before.
- Shower just before your tan if possible. If it's not possible we do have wet wipes for you.
- Don't wear any deodorant, perfume, moisturiser or makeup to your appointment.
- Wear dark loose fitting clothing and if it's raining make sure your wearing clothes that cover your body for when you leave like a hoodie and trackies.
- Do not shower or exercise until after you have your shower.
- We will instruct you on when it's best to have a shower but it could vary from 1 to 4/6 hours.
- Use a SLS free soap, don't have a too long or hot shower and pat dry with a tan. (I personally prefer to stand under the water until the water runs clear, I don't use a soap. Your tan still processes after your first shower, some may come out a bit light, but it will still develop).
- Avoid anything that may exfoliate the skin such as a long hot bath/spa, saunas or exposure to chlorinated water.
- Keep your skin hydrated by moisturising every day. You can extend the life of your tan by used a gradual tanning moisturiser like Vani-T's Bronzing Custard.
